Cleo's blog challenge and SLYMI

Here is my entry for the blog competition over on Cleo Crafts blog. I used one of their monthly kits plus some extras from my stash. These papers are gorgeous and I new straight away which photos to use for it.
Shimelle's SLYMI challenge on UKS. Use the minimalist sketch. I found this quite hard as I usually like plenty of embellishments etc to complement my pages.

It has been a busy two weeks!

Today we went to the Chestnut Centre in the Peak District. It specialises in Otters and Owls. It has been a glorious day and many photos have been taken (Am sure I have suitable papers to scrap them with). Below is a photo of a giant otter.

There is a deer park which you can just wander through, the deer are really friendly. I didn't need my zoom at all!

The view of Kinder Scout from the deer park.
Last weekend was the end of year Physio Ball at Uni so my boyfriend got us tickets. It was an amazing night held at the Cutler's Hall in Sheffield. It was such a grand venue. As you can imagine lots of photos were taken, so watch this space for LOs.

Finally this picture is one taken in our garden before we went to the Greenhead House Restaurant, Chapeltown. It has been altered on picasa, the black and white really shows up the sunlight and shadows.

Not much time for scrapping!

Unfortunately I haven't had much time to do any scrapping this week as I have just started a new placement. I'm on a busy General Surgery ward and as its my last placement before qualifying its important that I give it my all. I'm there for 12 weeks without a holiday.

Have ordered more stash from www.cleocrafts.co.uk I'm getting so much stash I don't know where to start sometimes. Looking forward to their June Monthly kit, the sneaky on their blog looks interesting!
